I found a new learning tool this year and I cannot stop thinking of all the ways to use it for learning! It is a fidget pop. It is supposed to be used for people that need to reduce stress and improve focus and fine motor control.

For students to reach their full potential and greatest academic success, I must consider more than just the curriculum information I need them to learn. I must realize that perceptual motor, trauma, spiritual, cognitive, executive and neurological processes all work together for academic success.
Often a student is handicapped by one or more of these functions that is under or over developed. Students need to be able to function as a member of their classroom community to achieve full student success.
